Limiting the Scars of Veteran Suicide
The financial consequences of a veteran suicide can begin almost immediately. Funeral costs, cremation expenses, biohazard cleanup, lost household income, and delayed benefits can place a grieving family under tremendous pressure.
Once A Soldier exists to help reduce those immediate financial scars whenever resources are available—and to provide information, guidance, and compassion as families begin facing the emotional scars that can last much longer.
